In 2018 I was convinced by Anne R. Allen, the author of The Author Blog: Easy Blogging for Busy Authors that I should write a blog.  She told me that it is especially important for non-fiction authors who need to blog in order to keep in touch with their readers and to network with other authors who are writing in the same genre.

Here is the deal.  I hope to post once a month. Most of the posts will be on topics discussed in the the Smart Student's Guide to Philosophical Classics book series.

I am now embarked on writing a student guide to Descartes' famous Meditations on First Philosophy.  My plan is to blog this book, that is, post the chapters to the blog as I write them.  At this writing, there are now three posts on Descartes.
